HARLEM JAZZ CLUBS – (1) The Cotton Club, 212 663-7980, 656 West 125th Street, West of Broadway, This is not the original Harlem Cotton Club, which moved to midtown and finally closed decades ago. The current Cotton Club is at the gateway to Sugar Hill, way on the west side of 125th Street. Set up largely for groups and rented out for private parties, they do bring back the heyday of the Harlem swing tradition with a full size big band and vocalists. (2) Creole (212) 876-8838 2167 3rd Avenue, 118th Street – Great Creole cuisine by way of New Orleans and music nightly. Check their web site to find out the cover charges and minimums and the music policy for the night in question. Expect to find a lively scene with good food, live music in a fine looking Spanish Harlem club. (3) Jazz Museum in Harlem 212 348-8300 104 East 126th Street, # 2C Park/Lexington Avenues, The Jazz Museum in Harlem Keep in touch with the current schedule by calling or visiting their web site.

Allie’s Inn Bed and Breakfast is officially open for business! Pictures of the newly renovated private studio will be posted on the web site in a few days. When you arrive at Allie’s Inn, you will find Nicali Bath and Body products in your complimentary basket. Patty Robinson of Nicali Bath and Body has created fresh and clean salt scrubs. Her scrubs contain two textures of salt to provide the ultimate in softness. She uses only natural ingredients and combines them with fresh citrus, herbal and floral essential oils. The first scents Patty created are Sorrento Lemon and Via Veneto Fresh Orange are a tribute to her first trip to Italy. In wandering the ancient streets of Sorrento, the scent of lemon was everywhere, while lunching in Via Veneto in Rome, she was amazed at the orange trees growing on the sidewalks! Memories of Florence, Venice and Orvieto helped Patty create the amazing scents. Guests at Allie’s Inn will experience the luxury of Nicali Bath and Body products. If you wish to purchase Patty’s creations contact her at Nicali.sweetlife@gmail.com
